Has someone every coughed near to you and you were afraid that you would get a respiratory tract infection? Did you know that respiratory viruses are frequently transmitted by hand to hand contact and less so by coughing?

Fibroids are a very common gynecologic problem.Most women will have fibroids at some point in their lifetime beginning from in the twenties and they start to shrink after menopause because of the decrease in estrogen levels. Research has shown that it is more common in African women-the darker the skin tone the higher the risk, why this is so, is still unclear.

On November 23rd, 2015, the St. Maarten Medical Center will be expanding its facilities and opening the doors to its Care Complex.

St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) has introduced a new innovative electronic Patient Satisfaction Survey system to provide a valid, reliable and user-friendly system that enables SMMC to improve and accurately measure client experience and satisfaction.

SMMC opens its doors Saturday October 31st, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
