The Hospitique

Our Gift & Snack Shop, called “The Hospitique", is open from Mondays through Fridays, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It is located on the Patio just inside the main entrance doors.

For patients, there is the opportunity to purchase toiletries, sleepwear as well as daily newspapers.

Visitors may wish to purchase, candy, toys, stuffed animals and an array of gifts including greeting cards. Also, snacks, sandwiches, croquettes and stuffed patties are available for persons wishing for something to eat while they wait.

Plants, flowers and bouquets

Many of the local flower shops deliver flower bouquets and gift baskets to patients at the SMMC. Our security personnel make sure they are delivered to the bedsides of the patients.

Plants, flowers and bouquets are not allowed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This is to minimize the risk of infection.

Telephones

Patients and visitors can pay to make a telephone call at the Service Desk in the main entrance.

Lost and Found

If you have misplaced a personal item, please check at the Admissions Office to see if it was returned there. SMMC does not take responsibility for any lost items.
