St. Maarten General Hospital: An Ambitious Hospital in the Caribbean

Our aim is to develop SMMC into a prominent medical institution in the Caribbean in order to deliver 'quality care close to home'. 

STATE OF THE ART MAIN BUILDING OF APPROX. 15600 M2 WITH:

• 104 In-patient beds
• 31 Dialysis Positions
• 4 Operating Theaters of which 1 is an multi-functional Cath-Lab
• Radiology Department including MRI
• 200 MPH wind resistent
• Base Isolator technology to withstand earthquake of a magnitude of 6 on the Richter Scale
• Self-sustainable (water & electricity) for up to 7 days after a disaster strikes

OTHER FACILITIES INCLUDE:

• Parking for approx. 345 cars
• Helipad
• Stand-Alone Office Building
• Waste Water Treatment Plant
• Technical Buildings
