New transatlantic transplant collaboration between Amsterdam hospital and the St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) has led to a historic change for Dialysis patients on Sint Maarten.

On Monday, December 5, 2016, 8 persons received their certificates as Certified Nursing Assistants in a graduation ceremony at the St. Martin’s Home.

The St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) hosted Free Clinical Breast Cancer Screenings on Saturday, October 29, 2016. This event reached remarkable numbers specifically to the women public with over one hundred women receiving breast examinations.

The Breastfeeding Committee of the St. Maarten Medical Center will be hosting their second annual Breastfeeding Expo on Saturday, August 27th, 2016 from 2pm – 7pm.
