The St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) celebrated its fifth annual Nurse Orris Jack Bell Award (NOJBA) on May 11th 2019. Nurse Orris Jack Bell herself, legends (retirees), award nominees and their friends and families came out to the luncheon which was held at the charming Little Well Oasis in Cole Bay.

St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) officially opened the new Urology Clinic on Monday in the presence of Minister of VSA, Emil Lee, during a gathering of invited healthcare stakeholders and SMMC staff at the new clinic at SMMC.The new multi-purpose clinic, which also houses the Neurology and Pulmonology specialties, is able to cater to the growing demand for these medical services on island and reinforces SMMC’s objective of providing quality care, close to home.

St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) recently finalized one of its open tenders with the signing of the contract for the delivery of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) equipment and an Access Control System to expand and replace the current installation in place at the hospital.
