A baby scale was donated to the St. Maarten Medical Center Pediatric Ward by Loumi Administration N.V. owner Michelette Boasman. The Christmas monetary donation was used to order the equipment. At the same time, renovations were being made on the ward for an additional baby room.
On Monday, the baby scale presentation was made in the newest room on the pediatric ward.
“As a parent, I had a good experience at the pediatric ward and I wanted to give back to the hospital that took good care of my family,” said Ms. Boasman.
Ms. Boasman also donated a television to the pediatric ward at the same time last year.
“We are pleased to have received these donations which are already in use and are of great benefit to the ward” said Manager Patient Care Antonio Pantophlet.
The St. Maarten Medical Center appreciates the donations we receive that help us acquire medical equipment to provide care to our patients. Donations can also be made via our website www.smmc.sx or by contacting our communications department at 543-1111ext 2507.
