The St. Maarten Heart and Stroke Foundation (SHSF) in collaboration with St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC), the White and Yellow Cross Care Foundation (WYCCF) and Soualiga Medical Practice invites the public to enjoy an educational event titled “Life After a Stroke” on Saturday, July 6th from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the White and Yellow Cross in St. John’s Estate.

St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) is pleased to announce a new rotational Pediatric Cardiologist, Dr. Amadu Juliana, who has started providing his services recently.

In what will be planned visit to various primary schools, Dr. Dick Wong Chung, one of the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialists at St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC), visited Sr. Regina Primary School recently.

A group of 13 Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialists have been recruited and will start at St. Maarten Medical Center’s (SMMC) per October 1st, 2018 on a rotational basis

The SMMC recently held PALS (Pediatric Advance Life Support) and PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization) courses for staff.
