St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) recently completed the upgrading of the John Cooper Jose Lake Sr. multipurpose sports court living up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in 2020 with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth, and Sports and Social and Health Insurances (SZV) granting SMMC temporary usage rights for a parcel of land located at the Raoul Illidge Sports Complex.

On Saturday, October 23rd, St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) resumed its much-anticipated annual free clinical breast exams with great success

On Saturday September 25th, SMMC, the Positive Foundation and the Elektralytes Foundation hosted their annual Prostate Cancer Screening featuring a health check corner and a COVID-19 vaccination pop-up by CPS.

SMMC’s general contractor will be pouring the first section of the basement floor of the new St. Maarten General Hospital (SMGH) on Thursday evening (September 23, 2021) starting at 8 pm.
