St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC)’s general contractor will continue with pouring the next section of the basement floor of the St. Maarten General Hospital (SMGH) on Tuesday afternoon (February 22, 2022).

The pouring of a next section of the basement floor of the St. Maarten General Hospital (SMGH) is being delayed due to a shipping delay of raw materials needed for the production of high-grade concrete.

St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) is proud to announce the installation of the new Comments, Complaints & Suggestion Boxes located at various locations within the hospital.

In light of the decreased amount of COVID-19 admissions, St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) will resume elective procedures as per Monday February 7, 2022Appointments that were cancelled due to COVID-19 and urgent appointments will be given preference over new, non-urgent appointments and thus may result in a longer waiting list for new appointments.
