The St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) Emergency Room (ER) recently received a donation from students of the American University of the Caribbean (AUC).

The St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) celebrated its fifth annual Nurse Orris Jack Bell Award (NOJBA) on May 11th 2019. Nurse Orris Jack Bell herself, legends (retirees), award nominees and their friends and families came out to the luncheon which was held at the charming Little Well Oasis in Cole Bay.

St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) recently hosted a seminar at the Divi Little Bay Beach Resort titled ‘Change Towards Quality and Safety’ which was organized by SMMC’s Quality and Safety Department and facilitated by a leading quality expert from the Netherlands, Dr. Everard van Kemenade.

In an effort to continually improve its safety procedures, St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) has embarked on a Hand Hygiene Quality project.

St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) will be attending the upcoming FRED Expo at the World Trade Center in Rotterdam (Holland) on May 11th, 2019 in an attempt to fill critical vacancies.
