SMMC, Social and Health Insurances SZV, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth, and Sports recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding granting SMMC temporary usage rights for a parcel of land at the Raoul Illidge Sports Complex. The parcel of land will be used for parking by SMMC for the duration of the construction of the St. Maarten General Hospital (SMGH).

In an interview with The Daily Herald on Monday, the directors of St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) provided insight into the developments of the St. Maarten General Hospital (SMGH) project and updates on SMMC’s current plans.

Due to the start of the construction of the St. Maarten General Hospital project, St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) has made temporary arrangements for alternative parking at close proximity of SMMC which will be effective as per Monday January 13th, 2020.

St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) is inviting brand development companies to express their interest in the development of the brand identity for the new St. Maarten General Hospital.

SMMC has officially handed over the grounds where the construction will take place to INSO, the general contractor for the construction of the new St. Maarten General Hospital (SMGH).
