St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) will conduct a fire evacuation drill on Wednesday, April 5th 2023 at 10:30 am.

St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) has adjusted its patient visiting policy. The amended policy goes into effect immediately and allows patients admitted to the Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatric, Day Care, Medical/Surgical, and Intensive Care (ICU) ward one visitor at a time during visiting hours.

Honorable Minister of the Dutch Ministry of Public Health, Welfare and Sports (VWS) Ernst Kuipers and VWS State Secretary Maarten van Ooijen paid a working visit to St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) on Tuesday, December 20th, 2022.

St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) and general contractor, FINSO, recently signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) regarding the adjusted terms for the construction of St. Maarten General Hospital (SMGH) in the presence of Minister of VSA Omar Ottley, marking the next step in the continuation of the project.
