Cayhill - The Nurses Association of St. Maarten opened the International Nurses week with a flag raising and official opening ceremony at the St. Maarten Medical Center on May 6th, 2013.

St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) will be at the Flinx Recruitment Expo Dutch Caribbean (FRED) on May 25th 2013.

Nurses Week May 6-12, 2013St. Maarten Medical Center and White and Yellow Cross nurses celebrate nurses week with present and retired nurses on the island. The week activities include a church service, flag raising and official opening of nurses week, torch march, lectures, entertaining evenings and a cocktail party.

Management and Staff of St. Maarten Medical Center congratulate the Leo Club with their 30th anniversary. The Leo Club is a youth division of the Lions Club geared to encourage youths to develop leadership qualities by participating in social service activities.

CAY HILL – The Supervisory Council of St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) is pleased to announce that Mrs. Yvonne van Ameijden has been appointed as the Interim Financial Director and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of SMMC as of April 1, 2013.
