A virtual tour of the St. Maarten General Hospital (SMGH), currently under construction, has been launched this week by St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC).

Over the past several weeks, staff of St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) had the opportunity to vote for their favorite St. Maarten General Hospital (SMGH) logo and the most popular version was revealed during a well-attended event held at the open-air patio area of SMMC on Friday January 15, 2021.

SMMC gave a tour of its Auxiliary Care Facility (ACF) to Dutch State Secretary Raymond Knops and his delegation on Thursday January 7th

SMMC recently welcomed a new permanent Cardiologist Dr. Han Spierenburg to its Cardiology team. Dr. Spierenburg joins SMMC Cardiologist Dr. Emiko Bird-Lake bringing the number of permanent Cardiologists in-service to two.

St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) is proud to announce the start of its Pain Management Clinic and the addition of Pain Management to the current medical specialties offered. In medicine, Pain Management falls under the Anesthesiology.
