The St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) will be hosting free Clinical Breast Examinations this Saturday, October 27th in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

SMMC is hosting a “Project Launch” with a series of workshops which are conducted by World Bank representatives from October 15 – 17. The workshops are aimed at providing guidance in the execution of the projects that will be accomplished using the grant funds.

A group of 13 Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialists have been recruited and will start at St. Maarten Medical Center’s (SMMC) per October 1st, 2018 on a rotational basis

In line with St. Maarten Medical Center’s (SMMC) continuing mission of providing ‘Quality Care, Close To Home’, a new medical specialty Ophthalmology (Eye Care) will be available at SMMC as per September 3rd 2018.

The St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) has signed an agreement to receive a USD 25 million grant from the St. Maarten Recovery, Reconstruction and Resilience Trust Fund that is funded by The Netherlands and managed by the World Bank.
