SMMC issues public consultation round for Environmental & Social Safety Management Plan regarding construction works new hospital
CAYHILL: According to the guidelines set forth by the World Bank governing the recently signed grant agreement, St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) is hereby issuing a public consultation round on November 26th, 2018 in order to receive input on the draft Environment & Social Safety Management Plan (ESMP) in relation to the planned construction works for the new hospital.
SMMC especially requests the attention from persons living in the surrounding area (of SMMC) as there will be ongoing construction works in their vicinity for an extended period.
The consultation round is open for public feedback and is planned for Monday November 26th, 2018 from 6.00 pm – 7.30 pm in the SMMC patio (behind the Service Desk at SMMC’s main entrance).
The draft ESMP can be reviewed on the www.smmc.sx website from November 22nd, 2018 under the ‘World Bank / Procedures’ section.
