Your Profile: As an Oncologist, you are part of a team of medical specialists ensuring the adequate and optimal diagnoses, care and follow up of our Oncology patients. You have an interest in all aspects of your specialization (preferably with experience in the field of Hematology) and are willing to work in a small team to perform your duties in the broadest sense possible. You are also willing to actively contribute to the daily operation of our hospital and intended developments for the future of our organization. Requirements: • Registered as an Oncologist (or Internist-Oncologist); • Patient-centered with a great bedside manner and a high level of flexibility; • Ambitious and willing to ensure continuity and quality of care; • Highly adaptable and able to work independently and with a team; • Comfortable handling and managing multiple responsibilities; • Good command of the English language. The ability to speak and understand Dutch, Spanish, or French is considered a plus. Tasks: • Examines, diagnoses and treats patients, if necessary using information and data from other medical disciplines and in coordination and consultation with medical specialists and other care providers; • Writes treatment plans and records relevant data; • Coordinates multidisciplinary patient care; • Prescribes and administers medication, provides information to patients and performs medical procedures; • Performs rounds, and assesses the health status and stability of the patient in relation to the treatment plan and adjusts the plan if necessary. • Contributes to the development and execution of quality management by developing protocols and procedures in cooperation with other medical specialists.
