CLINICAL LIAISON OFFICER

As a Clinical Liaison Officer you will assist in training, informing and instructing users regarding the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software. You will also be required to initiate, organize and provide education sessions for clinical applications. Other responsibilities include Liaising between end users and the implementation team ,and making recommendations for improvements to the EMR based on encountered issues.
- A MBO level 4 degree in Healthcare/Nursing;
- Knowledge of medical terminology;
- A good knowledge of data processing programs (Microsoft Office) combined with strong administrative skills;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- A good level of comprehension of both English and Dutch language (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills.

In addition, we offer health care services to the visiting tourists, which include annually more than 2 million cruise ship tourists.
SMMC is on the verge of realizing a new hospital building, to expand its services in order to accomodate the increased care demand of the people of St. Maarten, its visitors and neighboring islands. The new hispital is planned to be operational in 2022.
