Your Profile:
As the Hospitality Manager, you are responsible for overseeing and optimizing hospitality services in the hospital, ensuring an exceptional experience for patients, visitors and staff. You will lead the Service Desk, International Patient Services and Food Services. As a member of the Management Team, you provide strategic advice to the Board of Directors and develop policies that align with the hospital’s strategic objectives. You are a motivated leader with a clear vision for hospitality, possessing the interpersonal skills necessary to coach a diverse team and the technical acumen to manage digital patient-flow solutions.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or a related field;
• Wide managerial experience in hospitality management (preferably in a healthcare setting);
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and other digitized systems (experience with digital dashboards or registration kiosks is a plus);
• Fluency in written and verbal English and Dutch is required;
• Comprehension of additional languages (Spanish, Papiamentu, French) and familiarity with local cultures is considered an asset;
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work methodically to solve complex problems.

Tasks:

• Plan, develop and implement Hospitality Management strategies and annual budgets in line with the hospital’s strategic plan;
• Oversee the operations of the kitchen and staff restaurant, ensuring high-quality nutrition and adherence to (inter)national hygiene standards;
• Manage patient flows, including digital appointment solutions and self-check-in kiosks, to minimize wait times and enhance the patient journey;
• Ensure a seamless experience for international patients through the International Patient Office;
• Lead, coach and evaluate Hospitality supervisors and staff to create a motivating work climate and ensure adherence to service standards;
• Maintain a vendor database and manage food procurement and inventory control.
